Hardware Error on my first robot

For Christmas I got a Picaxe-28 project board, so now after being on this site for quite a while, I've finally got round to building my first proper robot. =D

I've been having great fun building and trying out various components on my robot, I was suprised by the small size of project board, it looks bigger in people's pictures.

Stuntbot AKA Dreambot

This is my entry to Oddbot's Robot Video Competition. As it isn't a 'proper' robot i have put this in a blog post. 

The main chassis is made from wood, and the shell is made from cardboard. I'm nt sure what happened to the original shell we made, I think my friend who I was working with took i, and I got the main part. It was black and red, and designed a bit like a tank!

A good place to buy stuff in the UK

Hi, I was wondering if anyone knows a good place to buy parts etc. in the UK. Obviously there is the picaxe store for the parts available on there. I was searching for stuff and it seems to fairly cheap and most parts are available form rapidonline.com but they don't sell stuff that is more robot specific and less general electrics.

Where do you guys get stuff from in the UK, or any UK store that you may use from abroad?

My UAV ideas

I've been reading this site for the past week or so, and it has really inspired me to get more into robotics. I've had a couple of ideas for robots that I want to make in the future, I am going to start of with fritsl's starting robot, but I just wanted to share some of my future ideas to see what you guys think.
