Screw terminals are a type of electrical connectors which connect a wire to a metal platform. The wire is secured into the terminal to form an electrical ground, which is an electric current. I found this website while searching for stepper motor control schematics.

While I was researching how to control a Hexpolar stepper motor, I found this website you guys might be interested in.



I/O expanders, instead of having only 8 outputs, are there any of them which have more than 8 outputs?

Instead of buying multiple 74HC165 chips and connecting a huge tangling mess to the brains and wasting huge amounts I/O pins which I should be using to do something else, I'll need I/O expanders which have more arms than legs, (More Output pins than input pins)

because my project is too awesome to deal with meer mortals, I need giants.

Anyone got any tips on how to do this?

Confusing Motor selection topic, 12V DC reversible Gearhead YG-2732 vs. 6V electric YM2712


Aren't all DC motors reversible? Why is this gear head motor YG-2732 getting praise for being reversible while this normal 6V DC motor does not get the reversble praise?

I never heard of a store bought DC motor that can only go in one direction.

Which one should I get? Value or Performance?

I'm building a holonomic drive robot platform and jaycar is the only place I can find to find the proper motors.

If there is another place, tell me.

Or should I just use hobby motors?

Can you help me decide?

A really good book, it's got schematics, photos, instructions and other cool stuff like "Using A DC Motor as an Input device/Dynamo".

I love this book, and I recommend it to all of you people here!

And in fact, I'd reccomend the entire series!

I would like to complain!

I would like to complain about the computer mice we use.

The LED light used to make the Mouse look as if it's sensing stuff (and to make it look good) is always red.

Why can't it be white, blue, green, no LED, purple, cyan, yellow, magenta, colour cycling or my favorite colour PINK!!!

What's so funny? Pink isn't a girls colour! I like pink, so what?

When I'm blushing, my face turns pink or red. So what?

Anyways, why the hell is the mouse light always red?!?!?!?!?!?

And why the hell there isn't any PINK LEDS AVAILABLE?
